FACULTY OF ENVIRONMENT’S ORIENTATIONS FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACTIVITIES
The Faculty of Environment has strengths in scientific research and technology transfer in the field of environment, especially biodiversity conservation, environmental quality assessment, environmental toxicology, waste water treatment and urban waste, environmental impact assessment, water resources management, GIS and remote sensing in planning and management of environmental resources, climate change. The faculty also has cooperation programs with international organizations and university in Asia, Europe and America
Objectives
Mobilizing multidisciplinary scientists including lecturers from Faculty of environment, scientists from research institutes inside and outside the university, consulting, cooperating in solving scientific and practical issues in environmental treatment technology, restoration and management of natural resources and environment in urban, industrial and rural areas.
Implementation
The faculty has 4 research teams to implement research on natural resources and environmental management, environmental technology, microbiology, GIS & remote sensing (Table 1). The lecturers formulate research proposals, explain the topic in groups and organize seminars to share research results and exchange with domestic and international organizations.
